First Canadian ride!

Here it is: pictures of our first ride, discovering Hamilton's amazing trail network. Such a lovely afternoon, spent with my brother from another mother, Andreas.

Last Ride - Pico Grande

Fica aqui, possivelmente, o nosso último registo neste trilho...

Problably our last ride at this trail...

Last Ride - Rocha da Relva

"Rocha da Relva" trail was as new to me as it was for Paulo. What a gorgeous trail! It wasn't on our plans to ride it, since we had the whole day planned out to be riden at 7 Cidades, but, unfortunetly, the detiriorating weather conditions didn't allowed for it to happen. We couldn't make it to Stone Riders, for some last jumps.
There is only one tinny cacth, when riding this trail: on your way up, you have to carry the bike! Cars can't get donw there :)

Last Ride - 7 Cidades

Here it is: Another chapter from the series "Last Ride". 7 Cidades area, was the chosen one, this last Tuesday, where we had such a good time, riding the legendary "cascalheiro" (gravel pit), before coming to a hault, for lunch (mandatory ;) ). Weather, though, was not in our favor...just right after lunch, the rain started to fall, wich made us leave the area, in search for a better (dryer) place to ride.
To be continued....on a different location.

Last Ride - Via Rápida

The time has come for me to bid farwell to the Azorean Trails...it's time to make the best of my last days with Paulo and Raquel, dear friends, that, along with my lovely wife, have been my central core of  relationships  for almost 3 years now, not only bike related, but in a personal level. We had quite a few riders, sharing runs with us; some of them left good memories...others did not, but we kept on riding every weekend, we invented Ride Days (tm), and we kept on spending as much time together, as true brothers do...We cleaned lots of trails, we payed workers to clean trails and even bought fuel to help other entities build trails...we did our best to keep some of the trails ridable, so that we could keep on riding and having fun...funny fact: this was Paulo's first time at "Via Rápida" and "Pega Cão" trails; amazing trails, but in an advanced state of erosion...Still we did managed to get some good footage and pics, with the help of some nice weather.
This video is just the begining of an amazing 3 days adventure around some of the most iconic mtb places around the island, where I first start riding, some 12 years ago, and still do...
