Busy Week!

      

This has been a busy week! From Sunday 'till today, I've been either on my DH or Trail bike! Blue Mountain was awesome! Getting used to the trails there with the help of my buddy Amar was a true blast. We had 12 runs on Sunday, more than enough to let go of the bike for a couple days, right? Wrong! Monday, trail riding around the Valley and today (day off) was time to return to Hydro Cut for more 20km of trailriding bliss! As if that wasn't enough, in the afternoon, me and Andreas, along with Stephen and Tim, helped out Sacred Rides, with a mild ride around the Valley... I'm beat, hahahaahaha!


      

Blue Mountain!

       

Fantástico! Absolutamente fantástico. Blue Mountain fica a 3 horas de viagem de Dundas, mas valeu a pena cada minuto, para poder desfrutar de um bike park magnifico, completo com tudo o que podemos precisar para passar um bom dia em cima da bina!

Nada de especial...apenas 100KM em cima das nossas all mountain bikes, hahahahahaaha!
Grande dia para pedalar num dos trilhos mais famosos do Canadá, que atravessa, praticamente, todo o país!

Such a great day to be out and about! When we left home, this morning, I had no idea that we would be pedaling 100km on our mountain bikes, but so we did and we survided, hahahahaah!

Dundas Valley

      

Finalmente! Encontrei a entrada para um dos muitos trilhos à volta de Dundas! Apesar de ter muitas subidas, encontrei, neste trilho fantástico, muitas secções divertidas e que mostram a beleza deste lugar.

I finally found it! The trail I rode a couple Sunday's ago, one of many around Dundas! Though it's still pretyy technical (climbs!), it still had some cool spots, and that gave me the oportunity to show, how beautiful this area really is.

Riding in Woodstock

       

Os trilhos em Woodstock são fenomenais! O Amar é um sortudo! Pequenos mas rápidos, com bermas enormes e super divertidas, um pump track à beira do parque de estacionamento...enfim, um local completamente dedicado à diversão e ao lazer. Acho que corremos quase todos os trilhos, durante 4 horas!

Woodstock trails are amazing! Amar, you're one lucky rider! Short blasts through huge berms and some cool jumps, with some of the best climbing I have experienced, a small pump track, next to the park lot...it's just one very cool spot, where we can have proper fun, stress free. I think we rode for 4 hours, trying to ride everything, hahahahah!

Day off = Ride Day!

    

The riding in Ontario, is some of the best I have ever seen. It's totally different from the Island. Here downhill runs are scarce. What predominates is an amazing technical trail riding experience, scatterd all over the place :) This particular ride, was in Brandford, and the trail streches for 15km, with a lot of short, steep climbs, and some rewarding and short downhill sections. It was great! I need a 29er, hahahahahaha! Here it makes a lot of sense :)

Amar drove to Dundas, so both of us could explore the conservation area. It's an amazing maze of trails that stretches for 40km. Lots of XC, but we did manage to find some cool features here and there :)
